Biography
Mr. Godfrey graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics. He later graduated with a Master of Science degree in physics from the University of Georgia. During his graduate studies, he worked as a research assistant for the Ullrich Ultrafast Laser Group and specialized in biophysics and physics education research. The University of Georgia formally recognized Mr. Godfrey’s teaching expertise upon graduation by granting him an Interdisciplinary Certificate in University Teaching. Mr. Godfrey currently has three peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
Mr. Godfrey is originally from Blue Ridge, Georgia. In his free time, he loves going on adventures with his wife and children. He is an avid reader, runner, UGA football fan, and loves all things outdoors.
