Nested CTDI Phantoms
Stop paying over $3,000 for a nested CTDI phantom! We got tired of paying high prices for a simple part for our own testing needs, so we set up our own manufacturing operations and have now decided to offer these phantoms to our colleagues and others around the world who are looking for a cost-effective CTDI phantom!
Our high-quality nested CTDI Phantom is precision-milled from PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and includes a 16 cm diameter head phantom and 32 cm diameter body phantom. The phantom is constructed with a center hole and eight peripheral holes (four in the head phantom and four in the body phantom) for CT ion chamber placement. PMMA inserts for these holes are included.
Each phantom undergoes rigorous quality assurance by a medical physicist to ensure that it precisely meets the 21 CFR 1020.33 specifications, and every purchase includes a certificate of conformance to this effect. These are the same CTDI phantoms that we use at West Physics for CT dosimetry measurements and we guarantee an attractive, high-quality part.
The phantom also comes with a custom-made carrying case that protects and secures the phantom during light-medium duty transport. This standard case is an excellent option for users who are transporting their CTDI phantom short distances and who do not require a wheeled case.
For those desiring a heavier-duty wheeled case, we offer a premium high-impact, watertight, crushproof version for an additional charge. This case has easy double-throw latches, a comfortable rubber over-molded handle and stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors. It is exceptionally strong but light.
The CTDI Phantom is warranted against defects in materials and construction for its lifetime.
