High Contrast Resolution Phantom

The West Physics High Contrast Resolution Phantom is a compact and convenient test object for the measurement of high contrast resolution in fluoroscopic and radiographic applications. It is constructed from high-grade polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and its 6-inch diameter allows for easy transport and handling, as well as the ability to conveniently test fluoroscopes and radiography units of all image receptor sizes, including mini C-Arms. Nine (9) test objects of varying copper mesh sizes, each 30 mm in diameter, are located along the periphery of the phantom for the purpose of high contrast resolution measurement. These test objects correspond to spatial resolutions of 16-80 lines/inch. Each test object is clearly labeled with its associated resolution for your convenience.
