Biography
Mr. Thompson graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance and Bachelor of Science in Physics. As an undergraduate he also participated in biophysics research using atomic force microscopy. He later graduated with a Master of Medical Physics degree from the CAMPEP-accredited program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his graduate studies, he gained clinical medical physics experience at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Mr. Thompson is from Atlanta, Georgia and is of Jamaican heritage. In his free time, he is a violinist. He also likes to dance, sing, and play the piano.
