California Governor Signs Senate Bill (SB) 1237, Implementing New Requirements for CT Procedures in the State
California’s Governor has signed SB 1237, which implements requirements for facilities utilizing computed tomography (CT) x-ray systems. These requirements, which go into effect on July 1, 2012, specify the recording of patient doses, reporting of overexposures, and accreditation requirements for facilities conducting CT exams.
