We are pleased to announce our acquisition of Medical Physics Services, Inc. (MPS) of Daphne, Alabama. MPS has provided diagnostic medical physics testing and consulting services in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi since 1990.
The acquisition expands our client base in the Southeastern United States while at the same time permitting the founder and owner of MPS, Dr. Michael D. Williams, to retire after many decades of providing quality medical physics services to his surrounding community. As part of the acquisition, we will continue providing all of the existing services that MPS has provided to their customer base, which includes mammography, radiography and fluoroscopy testing, as well as nuclear medicine regulatory auditing; additionally, we will make available numerous other physics services that MPS did not offer, such as MRI, CT and NM/PET accreditation support, dose reduction consulting, and MRI safety auditing.

The West Physics Consulting Medical Physicist Residency Program Receives Accreditation from CAMPEP!
We are so thrilled to announce that our Diagnostic Medical Physics Residency Program has officially received accreditation from CAMPEP, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs.
This accreditation is a significant accolade for our company as well as an essential stamp of approval necessary for our residents to complete their ABR (American Board of Radiology) board certification process. We are only the 9th organization in the world to receive this accreditation, the 2nd private company to do so, and the 1st (and only) private company to achieve this credential with no outside funding or administrative assistance. We join such esteemed institutions as the Mayo Clinic and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in having fully met the CAMPEP standards and we are particularly pleased that the review committee called out several unique pieces of our program in conveying their acceptance and support. As a bonus, we also now have the largest accredited residency program in our discipline in North America!
We intend to make our residency program the highest-quality experience possible for new graduates seeking a profession in diagnostic medical physics and we are so excited to share this news with our colleagues, clients and friends!
